Party Gaming, a well known operator of numerous large online casinos, has lately abandoned plans to take over one of its main rivals Empire. Lately there were many buzzes and much rumor surrounding a potential offer, buyout and takeover of Empire circulating within the online casino business. All that was but to rest lately when the online casino operator Party Gaming dismissed any rumors. The proposal that came from Party Gaming was predictable to be 60p per share of Empire which was declined and efficiently halted all debate of takeover.

Empire also controls numerous known online casinos and was looking for a far more generous proposes for their shares. They at first started the will for a total buyout at 175p per share. When Online casino operator Party Gaming proposed 60p for them they fell short of the preferred bid and all suggests were off the table soon after. In September of this year Sporting Bet, an operator of online casino sportbooks, proposed much more in an effort to buy out Empire. Party Gaming´s bid would have totaled 370m whereas Sprting Bet´s present was for 790m. Propose has since been pulled off the table.

Last month Party Gaming stunned the online casino business when it proclaimed that it would stop working with skin websites that help service the online casinos. It has been said that Empire was greatly influenced by this statement and may have plans to sue Party Gaming. Empire online casinos have said to have suffered a delay and economic slowdowns which have cut into their income.
